Ms. Choi joined the Commission’s Toledo Regional Office in 1989 as an Investigator. She was promoted to Reconsideration Supervisor in the Cleveland Regional Office in ’92, to Chief Supervisor in ’93, and Regional Director in ’94. Ms. Choi’s educational background includes a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Sociology, a MBA in Personnel Management, and Law School at the University of Toledo.

In June 2009, Ms. Choi began the dual-role of Cleveland/Akron Regional Director. She has a staff of 30 persons responsible for receiving, investigating/resolving approximately 1700 discrimination complaints a year from both Cleveland/Akron Regional Offices with a combined total of 24 counties throughout Northeastern Ohio.
